MEAT THE SCARF

Job description
A self-initiated fashion-art project under the label acidonsmiley. A knitted scarf with a meat motif—woven into a jacquard pattern from photo collages (meat_collage.psd, flesh_closeup.psd). Vacuum-sealed and labeled like a butcher’s product, staged in the meat department: The garment becomes the display, the wearer the merchandise. A play on words you can wear—“Meat” meets “Meet,” consumer criticism meets knitwear. From the Limited Edition (V1) to the Retail Edition (V2.0, FW 2019–20).
